changing your life starts with a simple mind shift.

I experienced a breakthrough not long ago.

Before it, my mind was broken (or so I thought). I used to think I was a victim, I couldn’t change my circumstances, I felt stuck and I believed I couldn’t become unstuck. I was unhappy, and I thought that’s how the world was.I felt like people were out to get me and everything was just going against me.

OMG, how depressing does that sound? 

I don’t really know how it happened, maybe it was someone very important to me that changed my life? I don’t really know how, all I know is that my mind changed for the better.

I now believe everything is possible if you work your butt off. I now believe we can all choose what to focus on; the good in the universe or the bad (let’s choose the good!)

I have met a lot of people that feel like they can’t do anything they put their mind to.

To be specific, here’s how a conversation I had with someone went down.

Her: “You look really great, what are you doing?”

Me: “I’m working out, and eating better, you can do that if you really wanted to.”

Her: “I can’t.”

Me: “Why not.?”

Her: “I have a husband and a child, I don’t have time.”

Their spouse: “You don’t do anything.!”

Me: “You can wake up earlier.”

Her: “I don’t have time, I have a husband and a child to take care of.”

In my mind, I am thinking this person is being lazy and is making excuses to not do something that will make her feel better… It’s not really important to them. In their mind, they probably, really believe they can’t really do it because they have a lot on their plate… It’s really how you look at things.

Very simple!

It’s like when you want to do something, but you believe you’re not good enough to do it, those are just thoughts limiting you!

There are people out there that think differently. I mean, look at Tony Robbins. Do you think he’s someone that gets stopped by this limiting beliefs? Honestly, I don’t even think he has them.

Here’s what I believe: Thoughts are just an illusion. Sometimes negative thoughts are what limits you. Like I said, your brain is designed to protect you and keep you away from what makes you uncomfortable. We all have to realize that and stop letting our thoughts control our actions, but rather take control of our thoughts and our actions… Not only would we be completely different human beings, but we will be better, wiser, stronger, and ultimately; I think happier.

If you really want to change, you don’t have to look into some deeper area in your life. You can just start by changing your actions, not really listen to your limiting thoughts but go full speed towards what you really want to do, and not think! Because thinking is the killer of everything. Thinking limits you, and keeps you blocked from actually being in the moment and living your life.If you can change your mind, you can change your life.

Get up, stay committed, motivated, and kill those limiting thoughts that block you from being who you were truly meant to be. Do the things that make you happy and your life will last longer and actually  fulfill you.

I not only believe in your potential but also in what you have, in your unique experience, and in what you can truly bring into this world. If you won’t get up and do things for yourself, someone else will do it for you and you won’t get the chance you’ve always wanted.

What are you waiting for? If you’re waiting for the right moment, believe me, you will be stuck waiting.
